Naoko and Char - Fly by

Wheee @__@ Under FANART since Char takes up more of the image then Naoy does.

I can call this my offical pain in the ASS image. I'm intending to use this for Black's layout (which I hope to release SOON @_@), but like, only a small part of it *grin*

Naoko was re-drawn a total of three times (the third one being the pose you see here), And I think I re-did char close to about 10. Originally, he was supose to be flying by above her head, but I couldn't get his wings to look right, so I attempted a more of a siting pose. But, it still looks like he's flying past (IF IT WAS ANIMATED, that is ) so I'm keeping the title.

My first time drawign a Charizard without referances. I'm pretty damn proud of it, though his wings gave me HELL. I rather like how he turned out...and god, my GOD, the SKIN!! I spent like an hour or so on his skin ALONE. Jesus christ, my hand was really sore when I was done, but it turned out looking so totally awesome! Like real skin! Complete with muscle definition! Really, he looks like the star of the image instead of Naoko. XD She pales in compairison with his totally awesome shading. SOmeone even said it lookedlike I used dodge+burn here! O__o I swear I Didnt. Only dodge present i son the highlights on her hair

Nao turned out cute too. I mostly <3 her hair and skin. Plus, you can totally see her bicep! I'm proud ^_^ Really proud. *squees~*

Char's skin is the perfect color on MY screen, but it wont look like his skin on everyone elses. OH ell.
