"Time Stop!"

Soooo I've been meaning to jump onto the Sailor Moon Redraw bandwagon for a while, but wasn't able to due to my neck. I kind of suddenly felt like drawing Sailor Pluto and voila! This happened! It's been so friggin' long since I've last drawn fanart that I honestly can't remember the last time I did! And considering this is just a redraw/meme thing, I'm...really surprised at how well this turned out!

NOW, before you guys go "WAIT THOSE ARENT HER COLORS!" let me tell you a story!

I kind of...combined various elements for Pluto into this. While yes, the blue and black are not her normal colors, it's actually her color scheme from Sera Myu! I'm not really sure why they changed it TBH, but I've always liked them and I actually think they suit Pluto better then her black + red colors. However, I kept her fuku anime-styled (to save my sanity), while I pulled some other things from her manga incarnation. Primarily her really dark, rich skin color; I've always loved how dark Naoko draws her in the manga, but she's usually lightened up in official art/the anime, and I wanted to give her original dark-skinned tone to her! I also gave her the manga's off-to-the-side and larger bun, too. Made her hair a bit more muted to match her Myu color scheme. So yey cross-referencing Pluto!

Pluto actually used to be my favorite until Saturn showed up, and she's still very much one of my favorite Senshi. I've always loved how solitary she is and how she is so bound to her duty, which makes her a very sad character. I've come to appreciate her more and more as I've grown

I'm super pleased with this! There are some issues, of course (I think her eyes are too high up >_<), but otherwise I'm really, really happy with it! This is from the episode of S when the Outer's helicopter blows up and Pluto uses Time Stop. I've always loved how water-colory the background is in this.
